The Maharishi Ayurveda Health Centre is located 850 m above sea level in the mountain village of Seelisberg. Enjoy the impressive panorama of the mountains and Lake Lucerne outside your window.
During your stay you can enjoy a quiet afternoon on our Garden terrace, or take a stroll through the nearby woods. Below our house, on the shores of the lake, is the historic Rütli where the Helvetic Confederation was founded 720 years ago.
In the summer nothing compares to a boatride on one of Lake Lucerne's famous, nearly 100 year-old paddle steamers. The dock is comfortably reached using the Treib-Seelisberg cable car.
If you feel the pull of the mountains, a cable car brings you above the "Seeli", the little lake, to "Alp Weid" (1300m) where you may like to drink a tea from fresh mountains herbs! From Emmetten, the next village, a cable-car eases the way to the Niederbauen which offers a beautiful Panorama at 1575m altitude.
