The 3-doshas system is further used in describing all aspects of life relevant to human health: behavioural, environmental or climatic factors, food qualities, characteristics of diseases, etc.




Our balance condition varies with time and most of us are a combination of 2 or 3 doshas. Sometimes, combinations of Doshas differ on the physical and mental level.
It is thus often difficult to determine on the basis of a medical questionnaire which Dosha(s) are out of balance and what to do in order to restore balance.
That’s why the technique of pulse-diagnosis is essential in detecting imbalances of Doshas in the physiology, in the most direct and precise way.




Vata is swift and dry as the wind
